Creative Brief – To ensure that they were reaching all of their local community, Hutt City Council wanted to embrace more targeted channels to tell their story with a new look and theme.
Challenge – Develop a recognisable name and identity to link all channels together so that the community of Lower Hutt starts to feel excited and part of a vibrant city. It needed to work with different quarterly themes and tie in with Hutt City Council branding.
We needed to ensure that this publication reflected the Lower Hutt community in a warm and positive way and to inspire enthusiasm for what the Hutt has to offer. Providing residents with information on things to visit and experience, information on council services and upcoming events to evoke unity and pride.
Idea – Hutt at Heart (Te Manawa) designed with a subtle heart outline along with the tagline ‘at the heart of who we are’ to be used for context or clarifying the message within the content. An A5 booklet delivered to every home in Lower Hutt and Petone.
result – “Lots of positive feedback” received by Hutt City Council.
